About Me

Hello! My name is Taylor and I am based out of the Ventura County area. I am an Event Coordinator specializing in weddings but have experience in Anniversaries, Baby Showers, Quinceañeras, Birthday Parties, Corporate Events, Galas, Fundraisers, and other special events. I would like to consider myself like Jennifer Lopez in the Wedding Planner or Katherine Heigl in 27 Dresses, but I am not on their level yet; one day I plan to be! I have always enjoyed event planning since I can remember. I have always been the first one to sign up to coordinate prom or homecoming in high school or homecoming rallies/concerts in college; I knew then this was going to be my niche. When I graduated from my undergrad, I worked for a wedding planning company and learned tons of new skills and techniques. I have learned that less is more and not everything on Pinterest is not as easy as it looks! I decided to go off on my own and created Events By Taylor P.

I help non-profits market and host events for fundraising opportunities to assisting a newly engaged couple plan one of the most important days of their lives. As a wedding planner, I have done many large-scale weddings up to 425 guests down to smaller-scale weddings for only 45 guests. I can help couples who are just looking for “Day Of” coordinating to ease the stress off of family and friends or provide a “Full Service” wedding planning for those couples who want their coordinator to be involved in the entire process. My goal is to ensure the wedding goes as smoothly as possible without the couple or family lifting a finger. I want to make sure their main focus is on them for their special day. I work with all my clients leading up to the big day to make sure that everything they have envisioned comes to life and that it is executed efficiently. What makes me unique from other wedding planners or big companies, is that all my services are custom to each couple. I tailor my services uniquely to reflect each couple’s goals for the biggest day of their life. I know weddings can be expensive too, so I have reasonable rates to ensure that you don’t have to choose between having a coordinator for your wedding or not due to means of not affording the help.
